- Steam bath
When the skin begins to sweat at approx. 42°C and a high degree of humidity, your metabolism really starts working. The purifying effect strengthens the body’s defences, your skin becomes more tender and softer. The moist steam bath is particularly recommended for patients with disorders of the circulation system as opposed to the gar dryer and hotter sauna atmosphere.
- Finnish sauna
The term Sauna comes from the Finnish language and means Room of Wood. The sauna is a contrast bath, during which the body is slowly heated up at 85 - 105° C and a humidity of 5 - 11%. Due to the heating up of the body and the subsequent cooling down by the outdoor air and cold water, the circulation system is stimulated and the resistance is strengthened. The body is purified by sweating.
